Go BIG or Go Home!

Big West News & Notes for Thursday, April 12, 2012

It’s been a busy start to April for Big West Wrestling; as the weather heats up, so will the action! Today the first episode of Big West TV has made it’s way online, and is available right here on BigWestWrestling.com, through our Media page. Meanwhile, several Big West stars are heading to Vancouver Island tonight for a huge CNWA show at the Luxton Hall in Langford (just outside of Victoria, B.C.). The Main Event features The Mauler battling former WWE star, Gangrel, while Adam Ryder & Kyle Sebastian team up to face KC Andrews & Vance Nevada. Also Cremator Von Slasher tangles with Lak Siddartha, Jordie Taylor takes on Matt XStatic, and Sammi “Bambi” Hall is featured in Ladies Action.

The following night, Friday the 13th, All Star Wrestling has another huge Cloverdale card: the Main Event will see Gangrel battle Nevada for the ASW Trans-Canada Title. Marty Sugar was originally slated to attend these two events, but has had to pull out: a serious back injury suffered outside of the wrestling realm has not only ruined his chance at a long-awaited rematch with Nevada on the Island, but may also jeopardize his spot in the Big West Television Title Tournament at the East Kelowna Community Hall on Saturday, April 28. Sugar will have one final meeting with doctors the Friday before the “Communication Breakdown” event, to see if he can receive last-minute medical clearance.
