“Guido Athleeto” Nabs a Silver

Big West would like to congratulate Tony Baroni for winning a silver medal at the 2012 Tiger Balm Internationals on Sunday, March 18 in North Van.  Baroni competed in the Novice No Gi Submission Wrestling Division, in the 190-200lbs. weight class.  This was only his second-ever competition of this nature, and his first medal.  Baroni is in back in Kelowna on Saturday, April 28 at the East Kelowna Community Hall; he faces another former NWA Canadian Champion, Sid Sylum, as part of the “Communication Breakdown” Television Taping.
