Originally from Brandon, Manitoba, Nevada was raised in the keystone province and made his wrestling debut at the tender age of seventeen for Winnipeg-based River City Wrestling.
Over the past several years, Nevada has maintained one of the most aggressive schedules on the independents. In 2002, Nevada logged more than 62,000 kilometers (mostly by land) as he made appearances from coast to coast in Canada and in such remote locations as Fort Norman, NWT.
Away from the ring, Nevada is an avid historian of the squared circle. Recently, he released his first commercially published work, “Wrestling in the Canadian West” which chronicles the history of pro wrestling across the western half of the country. Published by Crowbar Press, the book has received acclaim from some of pro wrestling’s biggest names.
Fans have had the chance to see Mr. Beefy Goodness go toe to toe with the likes of The Honky Tonk Man, Jim Neidhart, Matt Borne (original Doink), Paul Diamond, Cyrus the Virus, Bobby Roode, Tatanka and many more.
